Gafur Daniyarovich Rustamov
Mr. Rustamov has over 25 years of experience in engineering and public service municipality experience in Eastern Europe, west Asia and Russia. He has over 10 year experience working with international institutions (International Bank of Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)). Mr. Rustamov has served as Chief of Functional Department then as Deputy of Head for the Main Board of Public Services Municipality of Tashkent City along with the positions of Head of Sanitary Cleaning Board and Director of Project Implementation Unit of the local Municipality. With an extensive career in public services and solid waste management, Mr. Rustamov manage and successfully complete the "Tashkent Solid Waste Management Rehabilitation Project" financing under loans IBRD and EBRD and served as a consultant to the World Bank for initiation and design of integrated municipal solid waste management for cities Samarqand, Bukhora and Baku. Mr. Rustamov was educated in both Uzbekistan and Russia earning a degree in Engineering and Construction with specialization in Civil Engineering, Planning & Construction of Urban Infrastructure.

Ken Newcombe
Ken Newcombe is Head of Strategic Development for CCC’s Carbon Market’s business. Ken joined CCC from the World Bank where he was a senior executive focused on environmental and social sustainable development. Ken was the creator and leader of the world’s first global carbon fund (the Prototype Carbon Fund). Ken oversaw the design and launch of eight further carbon funds creating assets under management of $1bn and co-managed the development of the G8 investment framework for clean energy, energy efficiency and sustainable development arising from last year’s Gleneagles G8 summit. As Senior Advisor and Global Manager for New Products and partnerships Ken initiated and managed the CEOs Forum on Forestry, the WWF-World Bank Global Alliance on Forest Conservation and Sustainable Use; and the Forest Market Transformation Initiative which subsequently became the NGO “Forest Trends”. Ken holds a PhD in Energy and Natural Resource Management from the John Curtin School of Medical Research and Centre for Resources and Environmental Studies at the Australian National University.

Marc Angst
Mr. Angst is the Director in charge of Administration for Arxiel Ventures and Managing Partner of Gestrust SA, in Geneva, Switzerland. As Managing Partner of Gestrust, Mr. Angst is in charge of the planning and administration of top multi-million dollar companies internationally. Focusing on company establishment, Mr. Angst is an expert in administrative logistics and corporate structuring. Previously, Mr. Angst held senior management positions at Rathbone Trust Co SA specialising in setting up and administrating sophisticated planning structures/vehicles, most notably Trusts, Foundations, Establishments, Companies (holding, agency and commercial) and Partnerships. Mr. Angst managed teams of people in multiple offices globally. Prior to Rathbone Trust Co SA, Mr. Angst was a trust and commercial officer setting up and administrating trust and corporate structures for a large, International client base and held various positions at Credit Swiss Geneva in a variety of capacities and roles. Mr. Angst has a degree in Management from AKAD, Zurich and is a certified Trust and Estate Practitioner with a degree from STEP.

Kathryn Burke
Ms. Burke is a project management and fund-raising expert with global experience in over three continents. After successful positions in various industries in the US and Germany, Ms. Burke worked as Business Development and Events Manager for Reflex Publishing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Reflex Publishing, the leading publisher for energy titles in the Middle East, expanded to include the Middle East’s first alternative energy-focused publication. With close relations with the oil, gas and alternative energy industries, Ms. Burke expanded the energy portfolio of Reflex Publishing and increased corporate turnover in the development of high profile events. Ms. Burke worked as a business development consultant for Possin Steel Pipes in Germany, assisting in the strategic expansion of new business acquisitions and project finance diversification. Ms. Burke successfully raised funds for a variety of projects and ventures in North America, Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Ms. Burke holds a Bachelors of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy from Schiller International University in Germany and is currently Project Manager for Arxiel Ventures.

Nidhal Ouerfelli
Dr Nidhal Ouerfelli holds a Ph.D in economics from the University of Versailles and a Master Degree in Economic analysis and Governance of Risks. Dr Ouerfelli is an engineer agronomist specialised in different issues related to energy production and utilisation.
His research activity mainly focuses on a global vision of an energy system future that includes large scale development of renewable energy and Energy Efficiency in the Mediterranean region and the analysis of the driving forces for such a development. This work has covered not only the technology point of view, but also as far as regards the economic evaluation and the socio-environmental impact.
During his research activity, Dr Ouerfelli gained a deep knowledge in the field of the Renewable Energies, energy management and Rational Use of Energy.
Dr Ouerfelli attended several national and international conferences, seminars and workshops and he has an extensive Mediterranean network. Since 2002, he’s a Member of the organisation committee of the Mediterranean Summer University “UMET” on Energy policy and sustainable development in the Mediterranean region. He is also author of several publications in the domain.
